Jazz

Jazz dance combines classical ballet and modern dance techniques with contemporary influences. A strong emphasis on energy, rhythmical accuracy and style.

Level 1 Classes

Monday 5:30-6:30pm

Thursday 4:30-5:30pm

Friday 5:30-6:30pm

Jazz & Tap 1B (Beginner)

Beginner jazz and tap for ages 7-11 years old. 

No experience required.  Students must be 7 years old by 9/1/2024.

Enrollment in 1 ballet class/week is recommended.

Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm

Thursday 6:30-7:30pm

Jazz 1A (Advanced)

Minimum of 1 - 2 years of Jazz & Tap 1B required or teacher recommendation and placement. Enrollment in 1 ballet class a week is recommended.

Level 2 Classes

Jazz 2B (Beginner)

Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm

Minimum of 2 years of Jazz 1A and a placement of Ballet 1A or higher. (or by teacher approval) Enrollment in 1 ballet class a week is required; 2 ballet classes a week are recommended

Jazz 2A (Advanced)

Jazz 3C

Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm

Minimum of 2 years of Jazz 2A and a placement of Ballet 2A or higher. (or by teacher approval) Enrollment in 2 ballet classes a week are required; 3 ballet classes a week are recommended.
